The clinics both in London and New York have built up a good reputation and an impressive following. All members of the company are qualified with The Institute of Trichologist’s and follow a strict code of ethics.

Shuna Hammocks have been trained following qualifying with the Institute of Trichologist’s and have worked alongside Philip gaining experience within this field. “I want to provide the same standard of practice I offered in London to the people of Sussex and to help to raise awareness of the specialism ‘Trichology‘” Shuna says.

Shuna hosts day 1 of The Philip Kingsley Seminar every month. This informative course serves to train those who wish to attain a better understanding of the retail products. Also a basic understanding of Trichological conditions and when, in the case, if hair dressers are observing their clients’ progressive condition, to refer to a Trichologist.

Day 2 is hosted by Shuna’s father Glenn Lyons who is the clinical director at Philip Kingsley, and “my mentor and inspiration” Trichologist Shuna says.

The Retail range (available on his website, in various hairdressers, and department stores) is suitable for all hair types and stands alone in the world of hair products as it is the only one developed by Trichologists. Some of the products are as follows:

  • Philip Kingsley Shampoo & Conditioner
  • Philip Kingsley Elasticizer
  • Philip Kingsley Curl Activator
  • Philip Kingsley Scalp Mask & Toner
  • Philip Kingsley Body Building Shampoo

However, there are hair and scalp conditions that need more specialist care and advice and in these instances the sufferer would need to contact a Trichologist to arrange a consultation.
